Cops: Aurora woman hit man with truck

An Aurora woman has been charged after seriously injuring a family member by running him over with a pickup truck late Saturday night, according to police.

Heather Baumann, 31, of the 600 block of Four Seasons Boulevard was released after posting 10 percent of $200,000 bail on felony charges of aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery, according to authorities.

Police responded to her home at about 11 p.m. Saturday and found the 32-year-old male family member seriously injured by the pickup truck, said Aurora Police spokesman Dan Ferrelli.

Police said the man was standing in front of the truck late Saturday trying to prevent Baumann from leaving during an argument, but that didn’t stop Baumann from running the man over.

He was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora in serious condition, Ferrelli said.
