The Poison Pie
One day on Halloween Day, the kids went to school and were wearing their costumes. When they went to lunch, the lunch lady gave out pumpkin pie, but Daisy, Monica and Viviana knew that the pie had poison in it, so they told their teacher. The teacher didn't believe the girls because the lunch lady seemed so nice and helpful. So the kids ate the pie. But after lunch the kids looked sick. Their teacher said, “What happened?” The girls said that the pie made them sick and then the teacher realized that the girls were telling the truth. The teacher called the police, but the lunch lady overheard the phone call and so the lunch lady ran away from the school. The police began searching for her, but the lunch lady went to a different school. Now every Halloween she makes her special pumpkin pie. Everyone said it was to die for.
