Blagojevich jury ends 7th day of deliberations

Jurors at the corruption retrial of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich headed home Tuesday after deliberating for a seventh day.

They’re expected to pick up where they left off on Wednesday morning. There’s still no clear sign from jurors about where their deliberations stand.

The last jury note they sent to the judge was on Thursday. In total, they’ve sent just two notes. Neither offered any clear indication of whether jurors might be stuck.

Blagojevich has denied all 20 corruption counts he faces at the retrial. One allegation is that he tried to sell or trade President Barack Obama’s vacated Senate seat.

Jurors at his first trial deadlocked on all but one charge after 14 days of deliberations.
