D24 superintendent has new job:

Millburn Elementary District 24 Superintendent Ellen Maurer, who resigned effective June 30, has another job. Mauer recently was hired as principal of Ravinia Elementary School in Highland Park, with a start date of July 1. Ravinia Elementary is part of North Shore School District 112. Mauer also is an elected board member at Libertyville-Vernon Hills Area High School District 128. Mauer has been District 24 superintendent since 2009 and District 112 Superintendent David Behlow said she is “deeply grounded” in literacy and elementary curriculum.
