I was just finishing dinner with my daughter and new son when I looked out back and saw these clouds. With the sun peeking through, looking down on the fields that will soon be filled with fresh crops, I felt like I was sharing that moment with this old wagon that we have out on the back of the property. I took this photo of a Great Egret at Armstrong Park in Carol Stream, IL. I have noticed that the park has attracted new wildlife this spring, including herons, egrets, ducks, geese, and other interesting birds. I like the way it looks like the eyes of the egret are aligned with the eyes of the fish. I used a telephoto lens and stood about ten feet away.
