To join in the royal festivities, attendees were encouraged to wear extravagant hats to the party. Commercial photographer Alicia Johnson, right, was on hand to take portraits of the ladies and their hats. One of them, Bernie Dinschel, left, from Lisle, made her own hat herself, just for this occasion.
