Assistant State's Attorney Stephen Scheller said Reyes, of Kenosha, Wis., inappropriately touched the four children between Aug. 18 of last year and March 23.

Round Lake Beach police were alerted by a tip from a parent of one of the victims, Scheller said.

Reyes is a third-grade teacher at Raymond Ellis Elementary School and a six-year teacher in Round Lake Area Unit District 116. He was arrested at his home last week and waived his right to an extradition hearing Thursday.

Collins ordered Reyes, who faces up to five years in prison if convicted of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, to appear in court Tuesday, April 12.
