Johnny Weissmuller's Tarzan films are featured in new Turner Classic Movies DVD collections.

In 2009, Turner Classic Movies and Warner Home Video teamed up to put together a collection of some of the greatest movies of all time. These two-disc collections featured four films centered around themes -- mysteries, comedies, musicals, John Wayne films, Oscar winners and much more.

There are four new collections that are now available with many special features.

"TCM Greatest Classic Films: Tarzan, Vol. 1"

"TCM Greatest Classic Films: Tarzan, Vol. 2"

MGM considered Clark Gable for the role of Tarzan but gave it to a young actor named Johnny Weissmuller, who made his debut in "Tarzan the Ape Man," with Maureen O'Sullivan as Jane. The first volume celebrating his years as Tarzan also features "Tarzan Escapes," "Tarzan & His Mate" and "Tarzan Finds A Son."

In the second volume, fans will find "Tarzan's Secret Treasure," "Tarzan and the Amazons," "Tarzan's New York Adventure" and "Tarzan and the Leopard Woman."

"TCM Greatest Classic Films Collection: Marlon Brando"

Marlon Brando -- who lived for a time in Libertyville -- will always be remembered for his acting style, which was known as method acting. Actors admired and learned from him, and four of his best films are included in this collection: "A Streetcar Named Desire," "Reflections in a Golden Eye," "Julius Caesar" and "The Teahouse of the August Moon."

"TCM Greatest Classic Films Collection: Bette Davis"

Bette Davis was one of our greatest actresses of all time. She was nominated for 10 Academy Awards, won two and was rated the second greatest female actress of all time behind Katharine Hepburn by the American Film Institute. The four films in this collection are: "Now Voyager," "Dark Victory," "Old Acquaintance" and "Jezebel."

"Sarah Palin's Alaska"
