Stop funding Planned Parenthood

Planned Parenthood is pulling out all stops to prevent Congress to defund them. They claim that women wouldn’t receive free or affordable healthcare if Planned Parenthood didn’t receive federal money. This is not true.

Citizen Link informs us that there are almost 8,000 federally funded health care clinics that provide care for 24 million low income patients each year. What does Planned Parenthood offer that the other health care facilities don’t offer? They received an estimated $191 million from patients for performing more than 330,000 abortions in 2009.

Why should the government give our hard-earned tax money to a group that makes that kind of money performing abortions? It is time to defund Planned Parenthood.
