Dining events: Wildfire now offering brunch

Brunch begins at Wildfire

Smoked salmon, skillet-roasted prime rib hash and lemon ricotta pancakes are on the new inaugural brunch menu at Lincolnshire's Wildfire. Brunch will be served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays beginning Saturday, April 9. The regular lunch menu will continue to be available.

Get Goosed

Biaggi's chef Greg Smith has created an eight-course dinner to complement eight beers from Chicago's own Goose Island Brewing Company. The $75-per-person dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 13. Reservations are required.

Call me a tease

The venue is the same, but other than the date, Wednesday, May 18, I have no more details about the popular feeding frenzy called Chef's Fest. Last year's event attracted some 2,000 visitors who hungrily noshed on samples from 61 Northwest Suburban restaurants, sipped Lynfred Winery wines, and enjoyed live cooking demos and entertainment.
