Bartlett students wig out in upcoming musical

Spring cleaning always involves a shave and a haircut for yours truly, and it’s apropos considering what Bartlett High School has cooked up for audiences in April.

Theater students there will present the musical “Hairspray,” from Thursday, April 14 through Saturday, April 16, with all performances starting at 7 p.m. at the Bartlett High School Auditorium, 701 Schick Road. There’s also a matinee performance set for 2 p.m. Sunday, April 17.

The production, based on the 1988 John Waters film, features cast members in wigs that audience should see for themselves.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for senior citizens and $6 for students.
