Dundee library hosts Lego Race Car Workshop

The Dundee Township Library Children’s Department invites 8- to 12-year-olds to a special spring break Lego Race Car Workshop on Wednesday, March 30.

Choose from two sessions beginning at 1 or 3 p.m. at the library, 555 Barrington Ave. (Route 68) in East Dundee.

Presented by Legoland Discovery Center of Schaumburg, this workshop will take kids from brick novice to pit boss faster than you can say click. Children will learn how to construct a well-built race car with a little math and physics in the mix.

Learn how you can take specific steps to minimize your risk, as well as the damage if a problem develops, at “Identity Theft: What Everyone Should Know” at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 31 at the Dundee Township Public Library, 555 Barrington Ave. (Route 68) in East Dundee. Instructor Betti Caldwell, Law Enforcement Liaison, Illinois Secretary of State Police, will present the #147;three D#146;s#148; of identity theft (deter, detect, defend), which can make it more difficult for identity thieves to steal personal information. The program is free. Space is limited, so registration is recommended.
