Register early for BYF flag football

The Barrington Youth Football’s Flag Football Program offers early registration for its upcoming 2011 season from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, March 13, at Barrington High School, 616 W. Main St., in the lower level cafeteria.

Parents or guardians are asked to bring their child, as well as all the completed online forms: registration, consent and code of conduct. The registration and equipment fee is $230 per player, payable by check or cash. Registration forms are available for download at the BYF website, barringtonbroncos.net.

The BYF Flag Football Program offers Barrington area boys and girls ages 5-13 the opportunity to participate in competitive, limited-contact football with other children in their age group.

The flag football program has three age divisions, as well as an introductory division for 5- and 6-year-old players. It is an in-house, nontravel league open to children who reside in Barrington School District 220. Children must be no older than age 13 by Dec. 1 of the participating year.

Regular registration will take place from 8-11 a.m. Sunday, April 9, in the Barrington High School cafeteria lower level. The registration and equipment fee for regular registration is $250.
