Preliminary autopsy results: Westville man drowned

DANVILLE, Ill. — Vermilion County Coroner Peggy Johnson's office says preliminary autopsy results show a Westville man drowned to death.

The News-Gazette reports Thursday that 57-year-old Larry Anderson's cause of death is drowning. Toxicology results are not yet available.

Authorities say Anderson was reported missing Monday evening after he failed to return home from an ice-fishing trip.

His body was found Tuesday in the pond at Kennekuk County Park, which is about five miles west of Danville.
