Why are you running for this office, whether for re-election or election the first time? Is there a particular issue that motivates you, and if so, what is it?
I'm running for this position to be more involved. I think it is very important to be active and participate in helping better the community. I believe the library offers great services, and I want to help continue the effort.

Do you have a library card? How long have you had it? How often do you use it?
Yes I do. It was one of the first things I got when I moved here. I use the library services multiple times per week for a variety of different things.
Space is usually an issue at libraries. If that's the case at your library, would your solution be to expand the physical plant or make room by doing away with parts of the collection that technology has made less critical? Explain.
Space is not a critical issue now at the library. However, if a problem did arise, I would work with the board and staff to establish a good solution to the problem without needing to expand or lose good materials.
What impact have economic and technological changes had on libraries? How does a library remain relevant? How should its role in the community change?
Libraries still remain a critical function within our society. The library is a great place for people to come use the internet, make use of job resources, and check out books, without worrying about spending money. With the new technology becoming more popular, the library is very good at adopting these changes and making available to the public.
