Wisconsin-Milwaukee beats Illinois-Chicago 87-75

MILWAUKEE — Tony Meier scored 22 points to lead Wisconsin-Milwaukee to an 87-75 victory over Illinois-Chicago Thursday night.

Anthony Hill had 18 points and a team-high six rebounds before fouling out for the Panthers (9-9, 4-3 Horizon League). Tone Boyle added 17 points and Kaylon Williams had 14 for Milwaukee.

Robo Kreps led Illinois-Chicago with 19 points. Dipanjot Singh had 17 points, Paul Carter scored 16 and Paris Carter had 13 points and a team-high eight rebounds for the Flames (5-13, 0-6), who have lost 10 of their last 11 games.

The Panthers never trailed, led by as many as 23 points in the second half and shot 54 percent from the field.
