Northwestern quarterback Dan Persa will miss the rest of the season after rupturing his Achilles' tendon on the game-winning touchdown in a 21-17 victory over No. 13 Iowa on Saturday. Persa threw for 318 yards and two fourth-quarter touchdowns, the second the play he was injured on and that gave the Wildcats a 20-17 lead. He was helped off the field before the extra point with 1:22 to play. He was scheduled to undergo surgery Saturday night.
