Fannie May opens in Wheeling, Oak Park

CHICAGO — Fannie May Candy, the 90-year-old gourmet chocolate maker, plans to open two new stores: one at 1530 E. Lake County Road in Wheeling on Thursday, and the other in 1020 Lake St., Oak Park, on Wednesday.

Consumers will be able to sample and purchase Fannie May candies from noon to 8 p.m. in Oak Park and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Wheeling.
