These sea lions had taken over a public dock in the working harbor of Crescent City, CA. The marine mammal act doesn't let anyone chase them away. They made a lot of noise, but basically just laid around.

I was going through some pictures I had taken last year and ran across this swan picture which I liked very much. I converted it from color to black and white. I think it makes the reflections stand out more and also helps show off the swan's eye looking at you as well as the drops of water dripping from it's mouth.
