Candidates for Illinois House District 57 meet in forum

A candidates forum for candidates seeking the 57th District state House seat will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at the Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 Ellinwood St. The League of Women Voters of Glenview is hosting the event, which is expected to be attended by Democratic State Rep. Elaine Nekritz and her Republican challenger, Richard Hamen.
