Send Harris to fix state budget mess

Does Mark Walker's voting record reflect your views?

In the 20 months Rep. Walker has represented us, Rep. Walker voted in favor of a budget that has over a $13 billion deficit. That is more than a third of what we take in each year! He has also voted in favor of approving $3.9 billion in new debt.

The state of Illinois has been totally controlled by the Democrats for the last eight years and their fiscal mismanagement has left our state broke. While Quinn and the Democratic-controlled House and Senate claim to have passed smaller budgets in recent years, they REFUSE to address the structural debt that is breaking residents' backs!

Two years ago, we were hoping for a fresh voice to represent us. However, Rep. Walker has voted with House Speaker Madigan 80 percent of the time in his nearly two-year term in office. Therefore, Rep Walker must agree with Rep. Madigan 80 percent of the time. Do you?

We need to address our state budget crisis. We need to send someone who has the courage to do so. That person is Major Gen. David Harris.

David represented our district a number of years ago before taking on other roles in both the private and public sector. There is a budgetary war in Springfield, it's time we send in Major Gen. David Harris to be our voice and fix our budget.
