Kane Countybull; Bryan M. Richard, 26, of the 1700 block of Felten Road, Aurora, was cited for driving without a valid license after his Ford Aerostar caught fire Monday at Route 38 and Meredith Road, near Maple Park, police said. Richard told police he was driving west on Route 38 at 10:42 p.m. when the vehicle began to smoke as he stopped at Meredith Road. On arrival, firefighters found the Aerostar fully engulfed in flames, police said. Richard was released with a Nov. 3 court date. The vehicle was towed. bull; A black 2005 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy motorcycle was reported stolen Tuesday from a yard on the 1S100 block of Route 47, near Elburn, police said. The owner told police the motorcycle had been up for sale and its front forks were locked when it was taken. The loss was estimated at more than $10,000, according to a police report. bull; Four landscaping flagstones were reported damaged Tuesday at the entrance to the Blackberry Crossings subdivision at Harley Road and Prairie Drive near Elburn, police said. Damage was estimated at $200. bull; A TomTom GPS was reported stolen Tuesday from a locked 2005 Dodge Dakota on the 9N900 block of Heatherington Place, near Elgin, according to a police report. Police said a driver's side window was broken in the burglary.
