Police looking into report of robbery near St. Charles

Kane County sheriff's deputies are investigating a report of an armed robbery.

They were called around 9:10 p.m. Friday to Primrose Farm Park, 37W755 Bolcum Road in St. Charles Township.

It appears two small groups of people, ages 16 to 20, had met at the park, and the robbery happened when the groups were together, according to a sheriff's department spokesman. No one was injured, and no one has been arrested.

The sheriff's office is not releasing details about what was stolen or the number of people involved, pending further investigation.

Primrose Farm Park is owned by the St. Charles Park District.
