WFMT starts show devoted to chamber music

Charmed chamberClassical WFMT 98.7-FM adds a new weekly live show devoted to chamber music when "Live From Mayne Stage" debuts at 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 19. It will feature weekly performances at the Mayne Stage, 1328 W. Morse Ave., in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood, starting this weekend with the Baroque Band.Bootleggers bowHBO looks to rough-and-tumble Atlantic City at the start of the prohibition era in 1920 as the setting for its new series "Boardwalk Empire." Oh well, it has to be better than another "CSI." Better, though, is "Mike Molly," which tries to turn actual fat people into stars, with Billy Gardell and former "Gilmore Girls" chef Melissa McCarthy as the title characters, just before at 8:30.'Wind' breakChristopher Guest takes his ultradry, mockumentary style and turns it toward a sendup of folk music in "A Mighty Wind." "Gleeks" should look for Jane Lynch, who turns up in a folkie quartet.
