Ind. man charged in bizarre Facebook stalking

DELMONT, Pa. -- An Indiana man is facing stalking charges after he allegedly set up a Facebook account using the name of a woman he raped to persuade a Pennsylvania woman to come back to him.

Authorities say 23-year-old Travis Allen Davis, of New Castle, Ind., was arrested last week with a gun and box cutter as he slept in a car outside his ex-girlfriend's home in the southwestern Pennsylvania town of Delmont.

According to police, Davis used the name of a woman they say he raped in Ohio last year to contact the woman online.

A Westmoreland County judge on Tuesday ordered Davis to undergo a mental health evaluation. Davis faces charges including violating a protection from abuse order and stalking. He is being held on $75,000 bail.

Davis' attorney says he intends to prove his client's innocence.
