No new information on missing person in Mt. Prospect

Cook County sheriff's detectives continue to seek the whereabouts of a 53-year-old Glenview-area woman last seen by her family Wednesday morning.

Darcy Culberg's vehicle, a 2001 Jeep, was found on 1700 block of Beech Avenue in Mount Prospect, and a resident spotted her walking away from the vehicle Wednesday.

A witness also reported seeing the Northfield Township woman walking near a Super 8 motel in the Mount Prospect area.

Police say Culberg may be mentally ill and fear she is a danger to herself. Investigators tried to track her scent with a police department bloodhound, but the dog could not make a positive hit on any trail, sheriff's police said.

Culberg is described as a 5-foot-7 white woman, weighing approximately 120 lbs, with blond hair and green eyes. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at (708) 865-4896 or (847) 294-4729.
