St. Charles North 6, Bartlett 3: The Hawks took an early 1-0 lead out of the first inning, but could not hang on as they fell to the North Stars in this Upstate Eight Conference game. Greg Partyka and Phil Leonard each turned in 2-for-4 performances from the plate for the Hawks while Mark Morse (0-2) suffered the loss in 31/3 innings pitched as he gave up 4 hits, walked 5 and struck out 1.

Waubonsie Valley 10, Elgin 2: The Maroons (3-10, 3-5) outhit the Warriors 5-4, but were unable to push runs across the plate as they fell on the road in Upstate Eight Conference action. Zach Frerichs and Jacobs Meyer each recorded an RBI for the Maroons while Alex Doty tallied their only extra-base hit. D.J. Riggio (0-4) suffered the loss on the mound as he gave up just 3 hits and struck out 2 while allowing 7 earned runs and walking 7 batters in 32/3 innings of work.

Grayslake Central 7, Huntley 1: The Red Raiders (14-3, 8-2) scored their lone run in the first inning as they fell on the road to Fox Valley Conference opponent Grayslake Central. Phil Pupillo (RBI) and Tom Crohan (2B) led the Red Raiders offensively while Matt Morin (2-2) suffered the loss as he went 52/3 innings, giving up 3 earned runs and 9 hits while striking out 3.
