Reservations are required at (847) 680-0336.Man injured in Buffalo Grove accident:An 80-year-old man was injured about 5 p.m. Monday in Buffalo Grove when the vehicle he was driving was struck by a Jeep Cherokee after he tried to turn onto Route 83 from Cherbourg Road, police said. The man was taken by paramedics to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, where he remained Tuesday, Buffalo Grove Police Cmdr. Steve Husak said. Husak didn't know the condition of the man. Police blocked southbound McHenry Road at Buffalo Grove Road for about 90 minutes after the accident. Husak said no citations have been issued and the accident remains under investigation.Healthy Kids Day in Lake Villa:The annual Healthy Kids Day is set for Saturday, April 17, 9 a.m. to noon, at Hastings Lake YMCA, 1995 Grass Lake Road, Lindenhurst. Exhibitors booths will open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The day includes a tour of the police department and a tree planting at 11:30 a.m. Children's activities start at 10 a.m. and include a Nut Hunt, bingo, face painting and more.
