Suicide group to meet:Attempters' of Suicide support group meets from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Stone Manor, 528 S. Batavia Ave. (Route 31), Batavia. It is sponsored by Suicide Prevention Services. The keynote presentation, delivered by Barb Bancroft, is "Moon Pies, French Fries and Thunder Thighs." She will discuss diet and disease and as well as popular alternative therapies. Bancroft is author of the books, "Medical Minutiae; An Apple a Day," "The ABCs of Diet and Disease" and "Live a Little, Laugh a Lot." The cost is $25 per person, which includes all activities, gifts and a gourmet lunch as well as snacks and beverages. Third St. Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for seniors, $4 for kids 6 to 12 and younger than 6 are free. There is a $30 family rate. Tickets are available from any scout, and are also available at the door. The one-day boutique on Saturday in the Fred Rodgers Community Center in Aurora allows financially challenged high school junior and senior girls to shop for everything they need for prom free of charge. Donations are tax-deductible and can be dropped off at several locations.
