Fridays are for fish fries at Chase

The Friday Night Fish Fry is back at Chevy Chase Country Club this year with an expanded menu and more entertainment.

Starting Friday, Feb. 19, and continuing through April 2, the club will offer all-you-can-eat of the fried perch with french fries and coleslaw for $9.95 from 5 to 9 p.m. every Friday. A New England clam chowder soup bar is included with all adult entrees; other menu options include fried shrimp with fries and coleslaw for $12.95, butter-broiled tilapia with oven-roasted potatoes for $11.95 and pasta marinara for $9.95. A children's menu and dessert also are available.

Whitey O'Day, master of Irish tunes, will provide the entertainment on Friday, Feb 19. Holmes Middle School in Wheeling is sending its jazz band and show choir to perform on March 5, and its show choir on March 12.
