GOP must fight socialism efforts

I find it extremely hypocritical that the Democrats and their minions are calling the GOP the "party of no." There are numerous political cartoons that show Mr. Obama reaching out to Republicans and being spurned.

Time for a reality check. Let's turn the clock back a few weeks, before Mr. Brown won the Senate seat in Massachusetts. The Democrats in Congress wouldn't give Republicans the time of day. They openly scorned any attempts at bipartisanship that the GOP made and locked them out of committees.

Ah, but after the election; now they are the "open party" that wants to reach across the aisle. If that is so, why did the Senate Democrats ax a bipartisan jobs bill? Please, do they actually think any sane person believes them?

Judging from some letters in the Fence Post, there are those who are swallowing the Democrats' stuff. I'm not, and I call on the GOP to continue to fight efforts to turn this country into a socialist state; let's keep it free like the founding fathers intended.
