Cohen voters were run over

Since when do a few overbearing people overrule the vote of the people who voted Scott Lee Cohen? And you wonder why only 25 percent of people vote?

How dare you take our vote and disregard it. Basically, it was like not going to the polls at all. Just because some Illinois big wigs don't like him and wanted him to step down, should we say we don't like Madigan, and he should step down? We think that Madigan and Quinn owe 212,902 voters an apology.

We support term limits to everyone; these people get into office and either change their minds, or, even worse, change to the other side. We think that we should be able to vote out anyone who lies in office and does not do the work for the people. I bet that some people in government would run out of office in fear of the past things that they have done.

Everyone has a skeleton in their closet. It is time to open the door and shed some light in the dark corners of this country's politics. The lobbyists should be sent packing out of Washington D.C., and special interests should also be banned. Also, anyone in government office is caught in dealing with oil companies or other special interests should be kicked out on their ear. Who owns this country? I thought we did.
