Teen charged after threatening woman on Facebook

BENTON -- A southern Illinois teenager is accused of using the social-networking Web site Facebook to threaten his ex-girlfriend and her family.

Eighteen-year-old Joshua Walker of Sesser is charged in Franklin County with two counts of harassment through electronic communication.

Franklin County sheriff's Capt. Don Jones says one count is a felony alleging Walker made a death threat against his former girlfriend's family.

Walker was arrested last week. He couldn't be reached for comment because he doesn't have a listed home telephone number and court records don't show whether he has an attorney.
