Feb. 3Sustainable Living Night: 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, Byron Colby Barn, 1561 Jones Point Road, Grayslake. Incinerator-Free Lake County will host an educational and entertaining fundraiser featuring Dr. Neil Seldman, president of the Institute for Local Self-Reliance, along with additional speakers, music, snacks and drinks. The proceeds will benefit the purchasing of a drill to construct wells throughout the 12 villages of Uru on Mount Kilimanjaro, providing the 30,000 people living there with freshwater.
