The race between two Democratic primary candidates for Cook County Circuit Court Judge for the Dolan vacancy was too close to call late Tuesday.

With 94 percent of precincts reporting, Susan Kennedy Sullivan had 33 percent, with 144,507 votes, while Linda J. Pauel's 140,761 votes represented 32 percent.

Kevin J. Murphy had 25 percent of the vote with 109,253 votes, followed by Ubi O'Neal with 9 percent and 40,158 votes. A total of 434,679 votes were cast in the race so far, but nearly 200 precincts remained to be counted.

The judicial term runs six years. All election results are unofficial.
