Morrison represents conservative voters

I have lived in Palatine for 12 years and believe that Tom Morrison is exactly who we need as state representative. Illinois is facing financial disaster and there seems to be no end to how much debt the legislature can incur.

Frankly, it's embarrassing. Our current representative, Suzie Bassi, hasn't done enough to stop this. I've learned that while the House was passing bill after spending bill, Bassi was "excused" from voting nearly 240 times, and that's only counting one of her six terms.

I've met Tom Morrison, and he speaks with conviction about issues that deeply affect us as taxpayers. As a business owner, he knows how money going out has to be balanced by money coming in! He has the political courage to vote "No" on more taxes and spending instead of, like Bassi, making excuses for not voting at all. And it is important to me that Tom is a conservative who believes in protecting human life.

I hope you will join me in voting for Tom Morrison in the Republican primary on Feb. 2.
