False fire alarm by naked man leads to arrest at Arlington Heights motel

Arlington Heights police have charged an Arlington Heights man with felony disorderly conduct.

Reports said James S. Kaeseberg, 44, of the 300 block of South Vail Ave., was arrested around 3:55 a.m. Saturday at Jameson Suites, 2111 S. Arlington Heights Road.

Reports said an intoxicated man ran through the hotel naked and holding a blanket while pulling fire alarm switches on the third and fifth floors.

Officers also discovered a shattered decorative table on the third floor, an opened stand pipe on the fifth floor causing water to flow to the first floor, and a fire hose removed from its holder on the sixth floor.

It was not immediately clear if Kaeseberg was involved in the vandalism, reports said. His court date is Jan. 28.
