Arthur, between Dec. 15 and Jan. 18 and stole construction tools and materials. bull; Thieves stole a silver 2001 Lexus IS300 valued at $7,000 from a hotel parking lot at 3700 N. Wilke Road between 7 a.m. Jan. 17 and 8:30 p.m. Jan. 18. bull; Vandals broke the rear window on a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country minivan in a driveway on the 700 block of South Evergreen between 7 p.m. Jan. 18 and 7 a.m. Jan. 19.Des Plainesbull; Cynthia A. York, 45, of the 600 block of Pearson Street, Des Plaines, was arrested around 8:50 p.m. Jan. 19 in the Metra depot, 1501 Miner St., and charged with criminal trespass. Reports said she sat inside the station while intoxicated and harassed customers by asking for money. She had been warned by an officer on Jan. 14 not to return intoxicated unless she had a ticket to board the train. Her court date is Feb. 10.bull; Four teenage boys climbed onto the roof at Friendship Junior High School, 550 Elizabeth Lane, around 12:20 a.m. Jan. 17, using an awning and windows as a foothold; they removed the Louver windows on the boiler room door, climbed down two wall ladders inside the building and entered the hallway near the main office. A security alarm sounded, and the boys fled through an east side door. Officers viewed the break-in on the school's security videotape. bull; Two men robbed a 55-year-old man while he was walking on the 1100 block of South Lee Street around 11:50 p.m. Jan. 18. The robbers approached him from a parking lot; one man cut the strap on his bag, grabbed it and both robbers fled. The bag contained medication and cash. Value was estimated at $202.bull; Burglars broke into a 2005 Nissan Altima in an apartment lot on the 1300 block of East Brown Street between 3 p.m. Jan. 18 and 8:15 a.m. Jan. 19 and stole the in-dash stereo valued at $300.bull; Vandals hurled rocks at a 2009 Dodge pickup truck and 2005 Dodge van in a lot on the 1000 block of Lee Street between Jan. 16 and 19. Damage was estimated at $600.bull; Vandals scratched the entire length of the passenger's side of a car in a bar lot at 1696 E. Oakton St. between 4 and 7:30 p.m. Jan. 18.
