Carpentersvillebull; A search warrant executed at 10:33 p.m. Thursday in the 0-99 block of Oxford Drive resulted in three arrests. Matthew J. Williams, 20, of the 0-99 block of Middlesex Drive, Carpentersville, was arrested and charged with trespassing and possession of heroin, police said. Bond for Williams was set at 10 percent of $20,000 and he is due in court on Feb. 4, police said. Timothy R. Portis, 20, of the 0-99 block of Oxford Drive, Carpentersville, was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, possession of cocaine with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a school, trespassing and possession of marijuana, police said. His bond was set at 10 percent of $100,000 and he is due in court on Feb. 2, police said. Pierre R. Portis, 25, of the 1900 block of South St. Louis Avenue, Chicago, was charged with delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and delivery of a controlled substance. His bond has not be set.bull; Ricardo Bruno-Garcia, 18, of the 0-99 block of Birch Street, Carpentersville, was arrested and charged with residential burglary at Thursday in connection with a Dec. 15 burglary in the 1900 block of Cherokee Drive in which an Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, laptop computer and video games were stolen, police said. His bond was set at 10 percent of $65,000 and he is due in court on Feb. 3, police said. Gamaliel A. Salas, 17, of the 2000 block of Cherokee Drive, is charged with theft of a gold necklace, valued at more than $3,000, from the 1900 block of Cherokee, reports said. His bond was set at 10 percent of $5,000 and he is due in court on Jan. 29, police said. Bruno-Garcia also is charged with the Jan. 5 burglary of jewelry and video games from a home in the 2300 block of Arrow Street, reports said.Elginbull; Daniel D. Johnson, 32, of the 100 block of West Chicago Street, Elgin, was arrested and charged at 4:57 p.m. Thursday with felony failure to register as a sex offender, police said. Police said Ryan led officers on a brief vehicle chase after they tried to stop him for a broken taillight near Elgin. After pulling over at McLean Boulevard and Erie Street, Ryan jumped a fence and led police on a brief foot chase, dropping a bag of marijuana along the way, police said. bull; Michael G. Polishak, 34, of the 7600 block of West Hortense Avenue, Chicago, was arrested at 1:42 a.m. Jan. 16 and charged with driving under the influence and driving too fast for conditions after crashing his Chevy pickup truck into a ditch at Ramm and West County Line roads in Virgil Township. bull; A Sentry fire safe containing jewelry, personal papers and a 9 mm handgun magazine, among other items, was reported stolen Monday from a vehicle on the 6N700 block of Watseka Avenue near St. Charles. A window valued at $300 also was smashed in the burglary, police said.
