Death of teen should force action on 53

On New Year's Eve, a 13-year-old girl was hit by a car and killed on Route 12, Rand Road in Lake Zurich. She and a friend were crossing this "expressway" to get to the movie theater on the other side.

My prayers go to all her family and friends and to the driver and family for their sorrow.

When do "we" say ENOUGH is ENOUGH!

Route 53 must go through to Wisconsin as was originally planned some 40 years ago.

"We" must be a registered voter and VOTE.
