The Swedish American Children's Choir presents the 14th annual Swedish Christmas and St. Lucia Festival at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1.

The festival will take place at Bethany Lutheran Church, 8 S. Lincoln St., Batavia. It will feature music by the choir as well as violinists Margaret Lekander and Christopher Karl, and pianist Shirley Fox. This year's St. Lucia, Queen of Light, is Lucy Smith of Geneva.

After the concert, a Swedish Christmas Sweet Table will be served and Jul Tomte-Swedish Santa will visit with the children.

Also available for purchase will be baked goods and Scandinavian gift items and books.

The Swedish American Children's Choir is the largest choir of its kind in the Midwest. In their 13th year, they have performed at numerous venues in the Tri-state area.

Proceeds from the concert will benefit the choir tour fund.

Tickets are by reservation only and cost $15, $8 for children ages 6-12. Reservations can be made by calling the choir office at (630) 414-9700.
